Lasagna is a fairly labor-intensive casserole to make. It's oh so delicious, but sometimes this mama wants the lasagna without all of the labor-intensive work involved.
This crockpot ravioli lasagna is the answer to my dilemma! It has all of the same ingredients as my fave lasagna, but without all of the work. Win!
It is the perfect pasta casserole for when I need to spend less time in the kitchen (or for when I'm just feeling downright lazy).

HOW TO MAKE CROCKPOT LASAGNA WITH RAVIOLI
Crockpot lasagna made with frozen ravioli is so easy to make! This recipe used cheese ravioli in place of the traditional lasagna noodles and ricotta cheese. The ravioli is layered in your crockpot with Italian sausage, shredded mozzarella cheese, pasta sauce, and parmesan cheese. It is cooked on low for 3-4 hours. WHAT IS BULK ITALIAN SAUSAGE?
Bulk Italian sausage is a pork sausage that is ground and not in a casing. You can buy bulk Italian sausage in a roll form in your refrigerator section of the grocery store near the bacon or packaged in a tray located in the meat department. You can even make your own Italian sausage at home!HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY RAVIOLI LASAGNA IN THE CROCKPOT IS DONE?
Slow cookers come in a variety of brands, sizes, and shapes. Depending on your cooker, your ravioli lasagna may need more or less time to cook than stated in the recipe. You should check your casserole for doneness starting at around 3 hours and continue cooking until your ravioli is cooked through, but not complete mush.WHAT TO SERVE WITH RAVIOLI LASAGNA

Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna
Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is the easiest shortcut lasagna you will ever make. You will want to make ravioli casserole all the time!
prep time: cook time: 4total time: 4 HOURS 10 MIN
INGREDIENTS
1 (25 ounce) bag frozen cheese ravioli
1 (24 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
1 lb bulk Italian sausage or ground beef
8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the Italian sausage until no longer pink.
Drain off the grease.
2. Spoon 1 cup of sauce into the bottom of your oval crockpot.
3. Place half of the ravioli over the sauce in a single layer. Top the ravioli with half of the Italian sausage, half of the remaining sauce, then half of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Repeat with another layer of ravioli, Italian sausage, sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
4. Sprinkle half of the parmesan cheese on top. Cover and cook for 3-4 hours on low.
5. Sprinkle with the remaining parmesan cheese just before serving.

I used beef ravioli and added ricotta as a layer...made it even more delicious.
