Salmon is delicious. I am so lucky that my entire family loves salmon. Yes, even my little guy is a salmon-loving fool. He loves it so much that he even included it as his favorite food on his all about me poster at the beginning of the school year. He's also eating a piece of this salmon pictured as an after school snack right now.
The kid loves. his. salmon.
The fact that my kids love salmon so much means that our family gets to enjoy salmon for dinner at least a couple of times a month. I call that a mom win!
One of the main reasons that I love to cook salmon for my fam (besides the fact that it's delicious and ridiculously healthy) is because it is so darn easy to prepare.
I used to always pan fry my salmon in a cast iron skillet. That is until I got my air fryer.
GOOD GOD is air fried salmon delicious.
The outside of the salmon gets a golden, gorgeous crust. The skin gets crisped up just right. And the cook is ah-mazing.

All of this happens in just 10 minutes. That's right, ten minutes. No flipping. No fuss. Just a little olive oil and a sprinkle of seasonings and you're on your way to the most deliciously easy to make salmon of your life. You're going to love this recipe! I am also a big fan of this Honey Garlic Salmon and these air fryer salmon bites. I'm telling you, air fryer salmon is the best!

1. Spray your air fryer olive oil spray.
2. Place your salmon fillet into the air fryer, liberally spray with olive oil spray, and season with your desired seasonings.
3. Air fry at 400 degrees F for 8 minutes, or until done to your liking.
The salmon may need a few minutes more or less time depending on the thickness of your fillet. My salmon was right around 1-inch thick at the thickest point.
Cooking time may vary between different models of air fryer. I use the Ninja 4-Quart Air Fryer.
If you don't have olive oil spray, simply drizzle olive oil instead.

HOW TO MAKE SALMON IN YOUR AIR FRYER
Making salmon in your air fryer couldn't be easier! All you need is olive oil spray, a fillet of salmon, and some spices. Air fry until golden and the skin is crispy. See below for detailed recipe instructions.SHOULD I LEAVE THE SKIN ON MY SALMON?
Salmon skin is 100% edible and contains the highest concentration of omega-3 fatty acids on the whole fish. So, yes, you should totally keep the skin on your salmon and you should eat it, too! If you are totally opposed to eating it, the skin can be trimmed off before air-frying or simply not eaten if you don't want to bother removing it before cooking. The salmon easily separates from the skin after air frying.WHAT SHOULD I SEASON MY SALMON WITH?
Salmon is like a blank palate when it comes to seasoning. I love to use cajun seasoning on mine, but simple seasonings like salt, pepper, and paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, or onion powder are great seasoning choices for salmon.WHAT TO SERVE WITH AIR FRYER SALMON
Air fryer salmon is delicious served with a side of veggies, on a hot sandwich, or even on top of a salad! Try squeezing fresh lemon on your salmon or topping it with a cool creamy horseradish sauce or a fresh lemon dill sauce.MORE DELICIOUS SEAFOOD RECIPES
