Nuts and Berries Cocktail

Nuts and Berries, a mixed drink that has the perfect combination of nutty and berry flavors, is made with hazelnut liqueur and raspberry liqueur topped with milk or cream.

I can't remember the first time I had one of these delish creamy drinks.  It must have been during my bartending day, I'd guess.  That's when I was introduced into most drinks aside from beer or wine.

What I do know is that Nuts and Berries have become on of my favorite special occasion cocktails.  The combination of flavors from the hazelnut liqueur and the raspberry liqueur is, as I'm sure you'd guess, absolutely perfect.  Nuts and berries are like peas and carrots, right?  They just go!

You could easily transform this cocktail into a martini (by shaking and straining in a glass), or a shot (by eliminating the cream and serving in a shot glass), but my favorite way to serve this pretty pink drink over ice.  I know you'll love it!

Nuts and Berries Cocktail

   

Ingredients

• 1 ounce Frangelico® hazelnut liqueur
• 1 ounce Chambord® raspberry liqueur
• 3 ounces milk or cream

Instructions

1. Combine the ingredients and serve over ice.

Notes

• I have made these a little stronger and a little weaker, depending on my mood.  I'll usually pour the liqueurs over ice, then fill the rest of the glass with milk or cream.
