So the first thing I think I need to make perfectly clear about this dip is that if you don't like feta cheese, this is not the dip for you. That might seem pretty obvious, but this dip has some serious feta business going on. The feta is the star. So if you even kinda sorta don't like it, think about trying some other delish dips instead, like my Sausage Cream Cheese Dip, Beer Dip, or Caramelized Onion Dip with Bacon.
That being said, if you are a feta lover like me, then you are going to go ga ga for this creamy concoction!
First I put a couple of dollups on my oven-roasted green beans for lunch. Heaven. Then I grabbed a bag of pretzels and had a little dip fest. Because a little dollup was not enough feta goodness for one afternoon.
I can imagine this dip being good for so many things, like dipping fresh vegetables or pita chips, or as a burger...no, turkey burger spread! Yes! Can't you just imagine how yummy that would be?
It comes together in a few quick minutes, so if you're looking for an easy and tasty dip for your next gathering, it would be the perfect choice!
Greek Yogurt Feta Dip
Ingredients
Instructions
Notes
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 2 ounces feta cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil, plus more for drizzling if desired
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in your food processor and blend until smooth. You may need to scrape the sides with a rubber spatula a few times and continue blending to get a smooth consistency.
Notes
- Try adding your favorite fresh herbs to the mix for a flavorful twist! For a milder garlic taste, mince the garlic and saute in olive oil for 30 seconds to 1 minute before blending with the other ingredients.
